If You are Considering Botox Injections…..We Have an Important Message for You!

Everyone is talking about Botox and how it makes wrinkles disappear. Without a doubt when used properly, Botox is one of the best cosmetic procedures. Period!

Botox decreases the ability to smile, frown or squint, thereby preventing the appearance of lines and wrinkles caused by what is known as “dynamic” wrinkles, meaning, wrinkles caused by repeated facial expressions.

Doctors inject Botox directly into muscles to cause paralysis leading to wrinkle relaxation, a feat inciting famed NY Times columist Maureen Dowd to assert it was creating a “generation of expressionless zombies.”

Anyways, Botox User’s May Have Reasons To Frown.

Here’s The Other Half Of The Story:

1. Botox addresses only one aspect of facial rejuvination – motion wrinkles. It does not reduce fine lines, sun damage, skin roughness, nor does it help with acne scars, uneven pigmentation or age-spots.

2. The FDA has only approved Botox for use on an extremely limited area (less than 5% of our entire face). That area is the tiny little space where sometimes there is a furrow between your eyebrows. You can’t use Botox ANYWHERE ELSE.

3. Regular injections risk skin and nerve damage and actually thin the skin exacerbating some skin problems.

4. Botox users might be surprised to learn they’re actually receiving injections of a bacterial neurotoxin called botulinum, one of the most poisonous substances known. Exposure to large amounts of it can cause death.

5. Sometime ago, a couple was in critical condition in Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, breathing through ventilators and being fed intravenously after receiving adulterated Botox injections.

6. The effect of Botox injections almost completely disappear within 3 to 6 months. After which you need to again and again set up appointments with a doctor, get a new set of injections and spend more money (about $700) … every 3 to 6 months.

7. Pregnant women and women who are breast feeding should not undergo Botox treatment as there has been limited research of its effects on unborn fetuses and infants.

And Catch Your Breath…Here’s The Bummer of Bummers:

Dr. David Becker from Cornell Medical College says, “Patients receiving Botox injections to remove facial wrinkles, skin adjacent to the treatment area may become more wrinkled.” (read that again if you like)

You read that right! He explains why people who take Botox may develop new wrinkles as a result of the treatment, “After receiving Botox, a patient may unconsciously attempt to re-create the facial expressions in the area where treatment has paralyzed their facial muscles…What can happen is that other, nearby muscles compensate – this can have the effect of actually creating new wrinkles.”

In any case if you do decide upon getting injected with Botox it is best used in combination with other procedures.

But what if you are not interested in paying $700 every 3-6 months, getting pieced by injections and you don’t want to “risk” anything.

Are there non-injectable alternatives to Botox?

Yes and no. You’ve got to have seen some of those ads claiming “Better Than Botox?” – the ridiculous nonsense abut how a stretch mark cream can remove wrinkles? Does this product work?

Listen to what consumer advocate and beauty expert Paula Begoun says abut one of these products, “if you are still wondering if there is any way possible that (product name) might somehow be better than Botox, the short answer is no and that means no way, and no how.”

But remember, I said I’ve saved a million dollar secret for the end…

And I’m Not Going To Disappoint You…

Listen: Scientists in Spain (another European connection here) have discovered a compound called Acetyl Hexapeptide-3, which anecdotal evidence suggests, offers the same results as Botox without needles or the risk of damage to the skin or facial muscles. In other words, many doctors believe, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 has a similar mechanism of action as Botox…without the toxicity and costs.

The New York Times quoted an expert on Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 as saying: It (Acetyl Hexapeptide-3) aims to have properties similar to the botulinum toxin and can theorectially act on the same nerve-muscle connection that Botox works on, Botox breaks the connection, deadening the muscle while (Acetyl Hexapeptide) merely inhibits the connection, which could relax the muscle.

So in Simple Terms What Exactly Does Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 Do?

1. Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 blocks the nerve signals (neurotransmitters) that control the contraction of facial muscles. This produces a significant reduction in the appearance of both the depth and size of fine lines & wrinkles.

2. Unlike Botox, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 does not involve paralysis, toxins or side effects caused by leaked serum.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is non-evasive and safe for use in all areas of the face and throat (unlike Botox) and provides continuous, cumulative effects, which can ultimately last longer that Botox.

3. Because Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 works more progressively, its effects are not as abrupt and noticeable as Botox Injections and less likely to cause comment. This appeals to most women (including me) who are not interested in drawing attention to their use of wrinkle reducing products.

Any catch? Yes, one. The only downside of using Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 as a Botox alternative is results take a little longer to materialize and are more gradual. But if you can live with that, I believe Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 beats Botox to the punch!

Bottom line: It is quick, safe, easy, you don’t have to sell the farm to afford it, and people just love it’s “softening effect” on the face.

What about evidence it works? In a clinical study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 has been shown to reduce the depth of wrinles up to 30% after just 30 days of use! A 17% reduction of wrinkles around the eyes after only 15 days of treatment!

Tests also show a 39% improvement in smoothness, 42% improvement of dryness and 45% improvement in overall skin tone!

As I said, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 is the perfect climaxer to making you…
